We’re exploring the option to make a Video Library from all the publicly posted videos within the global community. This may include other enhanced features like: follow, likes/reactions, comments, and shares. Considering the use of a simple category tag and filters to find specific content faster.

Private and Hidden video content won’t be displayed in this Library.

That sounds like a fantastic idea! A Video Library would be a valuable addition to the global community, especially with the inclusion of follow, likes/reactions, comments, and shares. Keeping private and hidden videos out of this library is a thoughtful touch to maintain user privacy. This could become a go-to resource for quality content and engagement. I’m excited to see this feature come to life!

Thank you @discgolfmindset for this feedback! The team will look into this option later down the road as we start to enhance the way members connect with each other and find information easier and faster.

you will do it like youtube, or you will add in just youtube?

if your doing it just by yourself, this will be a loooooot of data i guess, iam not really sure if this will work or is even needed? Adding maybe youtube but let the data at youtube would be maybe the better way.

The idea would be to simply allow YouTube videos to be visable in an internal library. This libary would be populated from public videos that people upload or link into this community. The videos original content would be hosted on YouTube. The library may also include any public video content upload from phones or other deveices, yet the data storage and hosting within our community site may be too high of a demand and/or cost. The general idea is to simply make one place to see all pulbically posted videos and maybe a simple filters based on categories to make sorting and finding content easier. Like you mentioned @aemjay – it would be more work than it’s worth and heavy on data to be the host for this video content. I agree with you and appreciate your feedback!
