I’m far from a great player,but as a rec player getting ready to move into intermediate. I’m 32 and in my 2nd year playing btw. I think for me a key thing is to practice with intentions with your field work.

That’s a great point. This has been the biggest help for me in my overall game as well. If you’re not able to hit your routine up-shots and scramble after bad shots, big drives and putts are not going to save you.
