Bags or carts??
On the DGPT, I see way more pros carry bags instead of carts. Why is that? Seems like having to carry those heavy bags could interfere with one’s game. Why risk a back or shoulder injury when those carts are so practical? In pro ball golf, I rarely see any shoulder bags, if ever.

Good Question. The thought that comes to mind is centered around terrain – if there are winding steep hills, rocks, tight trees, etc. there would be a benefit to choose a bag over a kart.

I have a bag cart and could see how pros could consider something like that. The hard part for me is that there are times where a cart can be cumbersome to get to a lie. If I address a lie and have to run maybe 15 feet to my cart for a different option, I could see some rushed shots.

I gotta agree with Dave. I have a bags and a kart and switch depending on what course Im playing. I much prefer the kart though.
