The CODGC team wants to know how we can support shops/businesses/brands on here who want to promote.

What features would make it exciting for you to grow on here?

    Roadmap Ideas 💡 Under Consideration:

    • Business / Shop/Brand directory
    • Businesses profile tied your Biz Groups
    • Ability to have a business profile page like FB where you can switch from your player profile to your business profile to engage with your audience? (Like FB brand page)
    • Integrated Zoom feature for Business Profiles

What would be most valuable to you? Anything we didn’t think of?

      You are an idea generator!!

      1. Affiliate Program: Implement an affiliate marketing system where businesses can offer community members incentives to share their products or services.

      2. Interactive Polls and Quizzes: Create an easy-to-use tool for businesses to generate interactive content, engaging the community while also gathering valuable data. >> Our roadmap plans to have Polls and Quizzes for timeline post and possibly inside groups, the ETA is TBD. <<

      3. AI-Driven Insights: Use machine learning to suggest personalized tips for businesses on how to improve their engagement or optimize their content. >> The CODGC team is looking ahead at how AI can improve this community, I like where you’re going with this, let’s see what the future holds! <<

      4. Webinar Hosting: Expand on the integrated Zoom feature by allowing businesses to host webinars directly on the platform, with RSVP and reminder functionalities. >> Yes, Zoom is a feature we’re considering to put on our roadmap with more community feedback to assess the need and set this feature’s priority based on the community’s response. We see this being valuable for all groups. <<

      5. Sponsorship Opportunities: Offer businesses the chance to sponsor events, challenges, or sections of the platform, gaining more visibility within the community. >> We’ve thought about offereing a page where businesses can support the free community and future development by becoming a sponsor with 3 tiers (Ace, Eagle, Birdie). Each tier with it’s own exposure and benefits for the business. This would be a way to generate revenue, highlight businesses whom we trust, and also allow members on here to see who’s support the community. @discgolfmindset – is this kind of what you’re thinking? Or is this off base? <<

      6. Exclusive Virtual Events: Allow businesses to host exclusive virtual events that can be accessed by spending credits, adding an additional layer of exclusivity and engagement. >> This is something we’d consider later down the road and I can see this being tied in with the Zoom feature. The use of credits in this example is not avaialble at this time, yet perhaps a simple low cost to attend these events or no cost at all to the community members, only a small hosting fee for the businesses. Or maybe keep it all free and let the education and collaboration grow! <<

      7. SEO-Friendly Business Blogs: Give businesses the ability to post articles or blogs on their profiles, optimized for SEO to attract external traffic. >> The team is exploring ways to enhance the blogs and make them more readable when searched online. No ETA on this yet. I like this idea and know there’s room for improvement in the Blogs section on here. <<

      8. Bulk Messaging: Enable businesses to send mass messages or updates to their followers or specific segments of their audience. >> Currently you can send out a 1 way message to everyone in your group or have it be a full group messaging environment. Simply explore your group’s settings and messaging to see the options available. You can also choose to make a seperate messasge with on some of the members in there. No SMS text feature, only CODGC notification via mobile. <<

      9. Multi-Media Support: Allow businesses to upload a variety of media, such as videos, PDFs, and slide decks, to make their profiles more engaging and informative.

      10. Automated Customer Service: Integrate a basic chatbot to handle customer inquiries, freeing up time for the businesses. >> This may be possible for the company to implement for Customer Services inquiries from the community, yet implementing this for every business account or member is not yet an option. <<

      11. Social Media Integration: Enable easy sharing to and from other social media platforms to broaden the reach for businesses. >> The team has thought about this too, not just for businesses, but for every members. At this time it’s not possible, I can see how this would be of convenience. <<
