Updating the Course
I wanted to explore if people had interest and/or ideas related to making upgrades to Oakwood Park? Several thoughts I had related to new baskets, updating tee-pads, more defined paths, Hole Markers / Signs, and exploring building more benches.

100% for this. Oakwood is awesome but we can make it even better.

I believe the first step is getting the city on board. They really are apprehensive and downright almost anti improvement because it means more work for them in a way. Thinking back to the story about someone being “caught” adding more trash cans and promptly being asked to remove them. I wonder what it would take? Maybe we get the local businesses to contribute to a fund? We run a tourney then with them tied in as sponsors? Hmmm there is just a lot to unpack here.

Let’s wait and see what happens following the completion of the new structure and development of a family space.
